Jonathan Weber is a mindfulness and yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience. He is certified in Mindful Hatha yoga and MBSR Yoga Therapy and educated as an MBSR/MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) instructor from the IMA. He received his Advanced Vinyasa yoga training from Mark Stephens, and a Yin yoga training from Biff Mithoefer.
Jonathan has extensive experience in diverse forms of yoga and Eastern studies and brings his experience of authentic traditions into a modern training and approach to yoga and meditation practice. Jonathan moved over from the USA and began teaching in Norway in 2006. Over the years he has been giving lectures, workshops, and retreats on meditation and philosophy in yoga, and has been a pioneer in bridging mindfulness with yoga.
He is the primary mindfulness teacher at one of the largest and most established studios in Oslo, as well as teaching Mindful yoga in other studios. He is a co-teacher in the Therapeutic Yoga Teacher training with Maja Thune, and a teacher in the 200hr Teacher Training through Oslo Yoga. Sharing his broad experience and wisdom, Jonathan has become known for his grounded calm and warm presence.
